Step 1: Reduce

One way SNL seeks to reduce its use of resources is through structured examinations of activities or processes using Pollution Prevention Opportunity Assessments (PPOA).  When there is research into large or complex processes required, PPOAs have the end result of concisely documenting everything learned and presenting the viable opportunities for reduction.  Below is a selection of recent PPOAs that have been performed.
